Aluna Vela

We chose the name Aluna Vela because it embodies the essence of everything we envisioned. Aluna is a sacred word from the Kogi people of Colombia, an Indigenous group that sees Aluna as the origin of all creation, the great mother, the invisible world, the soul behind all life. It represents the depth, wisdom, and sacred consciousness we honor in this work. Vela, which means both “candle” and “sail” in Spanish, symbolizes light, guidance, and forward motion, the soul’s journey toward truth and inner awakening. Together, Aluna Vela speaks to illumination, transformation, and movement rooted in spirit. We also chose it because it flows effortlessly in both English and Spanish, a natural reflection of who we are and the people we’re here to serve. This name carries meaning, energy, and intention. It’s not a brand, it’s a frequency.

ABOUT ME

My name is Lina Hernández-Higgins, and I am a Certified Transpersonal Therapist with training in Integral Therapy in Humanistic Transpersonal Psychology. I offer emotional, spiritual, and energetic support to individuals seeking truth, balance, and healing in their lives.

My approach integrates the emotional body, ancestral influences, and the higher consciousness that connects us all. I work with clients to address trauma, internal fragmentation, relational wounds, and disconnection from purpose, through grounded conversation, therapeutic presence, and spiritual awareness.

This path is not something I chose casually, it called me. And as I deepened my training and began working with others, it became clear that healing is not about fixing people. It's about helping them remember who they truly are before the trauma, before the programming, before the disconnection.

I am supported in this mission by my husband, Richard Kyle Higgins, a spiritually awakened man who walks in truth, logic, and alignment with the highest frequency. While the voice and face of this platform is mine, his presence is deeply embedded in the energy of this space. He serves as a guide, strategist, truth mirror, and powerful energetic support in every layer of what we offer. This is a co-created mission, feminine heart, masculine clarity, working together to raise the vibration of everyone we encounter.

I offer sessions in both English and Spanish, and I work exclusively online at this time, serving clients worldwide. Whether you are navigating trauma, looking to shift ancestral patterns, or simply craving deeper connection with yourself, I am here to walk with you.
